Re: Chess set 2D
Your pieces caught my eye as am looking to do a unique chess playing set. That's going to make someone a really long lasting set. +1 I don't know how you got those square pieces to all just sit there without misalignment etc. Very interesting! PS. Your video was just right for experienced cnc craft ...

Re: Does v12 allow different z-zeros per sheet

Re: Tricks for continuing cuts after broken bit??
... I could just load my existing gcode in that and it 'should' work?? ... Its possible, but use ncviewer or equivalent to maybe see where that point is in the gcode. Re: Unwanted Vectors in Sketch Carve
You'll have to edit / refine the original portrait and get rid of those anomalies there. Then the Sketch Carve won't see them.

Re: manually logging into portal
Email reply from Vectric Support: Charlie Pullen (Vectric Ltd.) Feb 14, 2024, 17:22 GMT+1 ... once the software is active with your licence (either from logging in and activating online, or offline manual activation) your software does not HAVE to be online again after that. If you perform an action...

l was told by Vectric support that there's no commanding reason to "log in" to the portal site ... unless you need downloads or updates or etc.

What toolpath are you using?cuttingwood wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 4:05 pmA 1mm (0.04") tip is pretty tiny
Isn't the tool supposed to pull out of the wood in Z to get the detail required?
