Your'e right, I saw that project and it could give me some pointers. How did you like how it came out?

Think I am getting somewhere. There are some tools in the modeling tab that does reverse the image. Messed with it a little just now and saw some encouraging results. Wasn't trying to be accurate, just firing for effect. Going back to try and complete a good model.

Really appreciate the advice. I was thinking the same thing about subtracting the image but what I have found so far in the modeling tab when it comes to controlling Z height is that the lowest you can go is zero. Thanks Bob, that's what I thought. So far I have been only running 2D, 2.5D and some engraving. Just now decided to start learning 3D. Do you have Aspire and if so, what do you think about it?

I would like to create some hollow Easter Eggs on my Stinger 1 but as far as I can tell V Carve Pro does not support the tools in the modeling feature to create the necessary tool paths. Is this correct and if so are there any work arounds? Or is it time to upgrade to Aspire?
