importing

need help. I am starting a new job: a customer wants me to Vcarve a hymn. I have yet to find a way to import a clean copy, without a lot of cleanup, or better yet just building it myself from scratch. stich vector

HELLO ALL
I am trying to design a placard of my old fire helmet shield. In real life, the shield is made of two pieces of leather sewn together. My question is how to create a vector looking like a stitch line?

Thanks
Otto

There was no Toolpath for the holes in the file, how are you locating and drilling the holes? Sorry if the attached pic and questions are remedial, just try...

Re: corrupt processor file

If everything looks correct in the Toolpath Preview then I'd agree with Hermie that you have an alignment issue. If you'd care to post the drawing file someone maybe able to help further. The table “is” square with cutter. Drill hole on both side of x at the botton. Then drill same two holes at the...

Re: cutting inside cut

Tool sizes look ok. Is the machine properly configured? If you tell it to move one inch does it move exactly one inch etc? Most likely going to be deflection due to flex in the machine itself or slop somewhere if it's configured correctly. Sharks aren't the most robust of machines so it might be wo...
