Re: Game design carving backwards

Hi, Thanks for your answers. They were helpful. I figured it out. Some how the X and Y axis were reversed on the control box.

Do you have the forum address for the CNC Shark forum?

Game design carving backwards

Hi everyone, I had designed a game in v-carve pro 7.5, and when testing the design in the 3D preview the file came out fine. When I made the tap files to send to my shark router, all the tap files carved in reverse. Pretty much everything carved backwards. Everything was carved in reverse. The numbe...

Re: Help with z axis

I ended up contacting the manufacturer. Below is what they said. My two thoughts right off the bat are that the Z axis is slipping when the router is powered on, or that you are hitting the Z limit and losing your Z zero position. If it is slipping then you can test this by turning power onto the ma...

Re: Help with z axis

Hi FixitMike To answer your first question, no it did not. The machine had run through half of the tap file then started a plung downward. There was no stuttering sound, the bit just started dropping down. I had to hit the e-stop button to make the machine stop before it blew a fuse due to being emb...

Jogged the machine to where I wanted it to start from. I manually set the x,y,z axis's at 0.000 I then jogged the machine a ...

Re: Chess pieces

Hello,

Thank you both for the answers. I don't have a 2 rail sweep in my program. Is STL a file extension? If it is a file extension, what program is it in?

Thank you,

Jeanette
