Hi
Bit confused.
I have vcarve pro 11 on my pc at home and at work, on one the behaviour is different, in that when I double click on waste areas in 3d view the majority of the sheet is deleted instead of just waste.
I am using the same file.
Any advise would be much appreciated

Deleting from the selected point error
Hi All I keep getting this message that's preventing me from deleting the waste board. I am cutting without tabs. From the image which is attached it looks like its kind of pixelating across the cut profile, I have tried different modelling resolutions but it makes no difference. Any help would be m...

Cutting letters joined font
Hi Guys Was wondering if anyone had experience of creating the names quickly and easily for cutting name/placeholders as the attached picture. The material would be 3 - 4 mm MDF. I was hoping there may be a separate programme or similar to speed things up rather than having to mess around joining/tr...

Re: G41/G42 CUTTER COMPENSATION
Hi
Just wondered if anyone has experience of adding cutter diameter compensation to a post processor file as our controller has a tool wear compensation table.
Thanks in anticipation

Tool diameter / finished cut size issues
Hi Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this. I have a 6mm twin flute straight straight bit which is described as 6mm diameter and when measured, does measure 6mm across the flutes. However when cutting parts with no compensation the parts are smaller, which suggests the tool diameter is lar...

Re: Profile toolpath issue single pass required
Hi Adrian
It was the dado creator I was most concerned about as I could work it out but now I know its a minor bug. I was looking for a quick way to convert my existing files to speed up the cutting, however I can do them manually.
Thanks for your input

Profile toolpath issue single pass required
Hi I was wondering if anyone had come across this issue and how to solve it. I want to cut dado grooves in a single pass. Unfortunately when I use the Dado gadget or if I import vectors creating the toolpath seems to create two passes shown like this <> on the 2d visual, however if I draw the line i...

Nesting problem
Hi all I'm having a problem nesting some furniture parts as when I nest the parts some of the vectors from the parts get jumbled up and the parts become unrecogniseable. I think it may be because I have various toolpaths that overlap the perimeter of the parts ie pockets etc. Is there any way to sto...

I have now set Select Sheets when Edit Toolpath" setting set to in Options (edit menu) to "no".
Will see if that makes a difference.
Thanks in anticipation

Latent toolpaths problem Is this a glitch
Hi, I have a long running issue with vcarve pro and wonder if anyone else has experienced it and if there's a remedy. The scenario is this: I have template files which I use regularly to manufacture plywood. They have pocket, hole and profile toolpaths. I drag and drop various standard components in...
