Marv you hit the nail on the head with the lightweight machine. I am really disappointed in the dyna cnc router. I have had problems with it since day one. Thats exactly what I was thinking, I left the material on the machine and cut the same pocket with raster instead of offset and cut just slightly deeper, the results are not what I would like, but they are much better.

I dont know what the file extension would make any difference either. I have a cet of the centrion 3 sided v-bits. Is there anyway I can touch them up myself without sending them back to be sharpened? I was thinking a diamond hone might do the trick.

I have a drawing I need to add fillets to all the corners so I can cut the shapes and also cut a pocket for the shape to sit in. Is there a way to do this with vcp? The create fillets tool only works if you have straight lines and my drawing has some beziers.

Vectric would be a great program to have for the router part of your new machine. I dont know much about the plasma end of things maybe Tony or Brian will chime in on that. I would be very careful with practical cnc, pm or e-mail me if you would like to know more.

I spent some time looking around at joewoodworker. Does anyone sell a pump that is all ready to go without having to rig it up yourself (other than your jigs). I have a job right now that this would be an ideal set up.

Very nice work bag. How big is the sign? Did you use any masking to speed up the painting? I usually spend way more than 5 hour painting hdu signs, would be nice to speed things up some.
