I use air nozzle to blow the chips out of the kerf and help cool the acrylic

On my laser software it sees everything in MM so I have to export my files from Aspire in MM to get the correct size. I design in inches and then go to job size and position and change to mm then export it

If it is balling up and gummy then it may be that the acrylic is extruded and not cast. Cast cuts nice and clean.

I do this by drawing my circle to size then draw a .062 inch circle and use the copy along vector.

A 75-012 Onsrud mono-crystalline diamond polisher would do it. check out the 7:43 mark on this video. There is a lot of good advice on cutters here

Are you drawing it in Aspire or are you using a cad program or inkscape to draw it then import it.

I bought some cheap mirrors from Walmart and used a diamond drag to do my etching on.

I use a diamond drag bit for this or you could use a vinyl cutter to cut stencils and acid etch them

I have the widgetworks pen that works great. It uses a sleeve and a weight to let the pen slide up and down so no mashed points.
