Click on the font name at the top of your list, type the first letter or two of where you left off and it will take you there in the alphabetical list. No need to scroll.

Gadgets did not migrate from 9.5 to 10.
It is possible to install (new) gadgets in 10 but the failure to migrate is annoying.

I do some deep 3D cutting up to 25mm. Your maximum depth is always going to be limited to the length of bit that extends from the spindle and the rigidity of same. Yes. A piece of the same stock will do. There may be an error as a result of the original stock not being an exact thickness over the entire surface, but it should be small. Scrap is fine, you can set Z zero ALONE anywhere on the bed. Replace the tool, jog X and Y over the scrap, jog Z down until it touches the surface, set Z zero- nothing else, then GOTO XYZ 0 and finish your plaque. A Design and Make file milled into a hardwood known as "brown ivory", roughed with 3mm end mill, finished with 1mm ball nose (10% stepover).
