Vectric Customer

My hard drive crashed. Managed to save all my outside files but Aspire went bye bye. I downloaded Aspire 11.5 with no problems but how do I get all my Design and Make files back? The Clipart downloaded ok.

I'm in!! Will get to see some of the regular contacts and, hopefully, a few new ones.

Finally got a live person at the hotel. Tried to roll the reservations to next year but they wouldn't do it that far out. Had no idea what a Vectric was. Stephanie will have to let us know when we can rebook.

OK. I got the text from a translator site. Then copied it to the text box in Aspire. Had to scroll thru all the fonts - some worked /most didn't - to find one that looked the part. Now to see if it'll cut it.

I know there has to be a way. I have a normal Qwerty USA keyboard -- but need to type in a couple different languages - ie Polish and Ukrainian. I can get the foreign keyboards on line, but how do I get the text to print in Aspire to cut in that language?

The hotel doesn't want to lose the business so they are biased. The big question is whether it'll be safe to fly, since most of us will have to travel in some way and are "above the average age" of the general population and most at risk. When will a decision be made if the meetings will be delayed or even cancelled? We're already seeing events cancelled up to the end of August so far here in the USA. Airlines don't have a clue what they're even doing.

Just got off the phone with the hotel -- they said the best they could do was Thurs and Fri nite at $189 and Sat at the regular rate. Better than a broken bit or a loose clamp on a big cut. I wouldn't wait much longer to book if you want to stay there.

Vectric needs to pull some strings to get more accommodations. Sold out of Vectric rooms and hotel says no vacancy even at regular rates. Over 10 months in advance, and no rooms. Denver must be a popular place in October.
