Is there a way to enter in a specific value for the radius of the corners in a pocket?

Re: Z1, Z2, ....
Hi Angie, Thanks for answering. That's what I've been adjusting. Probably something I am doing wrong. I have Z1 set to .4" and Z2 set to .005". I would like to get the machine to stay with a low Z movement while it is going through the tool paths on an individual part but after it completes the part...

I am running V Carve Pro 8.020. I have created a jig used to pocket and engrave multiple small round maple disks. The jig has a top plate that is screwed in place to keep the parts from moving or lifting. My question is this – Is there a way to keep the z movement height barely above the material du...

.Tap File not behaving
I'm stumped. Editing my file with the circle gadget. Loaded it on the machine. Both cut paths show up but when I start cutting the job it only partially cuts the first outer circle then stops and says the job is complete. When I preview the job everything is cut out. Can't find a thing wrong. File i...

Re: Editing multiple images at one time
I think it would be a good idea to have at least a basic working knowledge of GCode. Could you recommend a good manual or tutorials?

Re: Editing multiple images at one time
Thank you all for the help. I got the gadget and almost fell out of my chair when I saw how easy it was. What a time saver and the images maintained their position after sizing. Very cool.

Editing multiple images at one time
Morning! One thing I am trying to figure out (as usual, probably simple and right in front of me), after I have completed, saved, and ran a whole table of parts and decide to tweek one feature I cannot get V Carve Pro to change everything on that layer at once. Specifically, changing the size of a p...

Re: Creating text
I appreciate all the advice. Worth more than 2 cents. I went back and modified the font type and size and will be using a 30 degree bit. Compromised somewhat, went to a 1L font and increased the size.

Re: Creating text
Thanks, guess I need to do a reality check. That's one of the problems with being new to this, not sure where the limits are.

Re: Creating text
Thanks. Here's the file. Also, I am trying to get the text to wrap all the way around but also haven't figured this out yet. I have to say this is a lot of fun, but quite the learning curve! Finally created something useful last night. Made a jig for holding a quantity of small parts to drill one pr...
