Re: Rooster project
Sometimes in these post you feel like the OP turns on that light bulb for you. Russell, you have done this and I'm so glad you described your process and that you glued the choice wood onto a backer to make the male cut. I have run into this and for the life of me didn't even think about gluing the ...

Very nice. Wood makes me think of spalted pecan. I've wanted one of those for a long time but don't have any room for it.

Re: Powermatic 2x4 CNC Router Post processor
Could it be the E-switch (big Red button on control box.)? If it's pushed all the way in it won't run. Just turn it clockwise as indicated by the arrows on the switch button. Another thought is that the VFD-M button (also on the control box) needs to be adjusted. It could have the speed down too low...

Really nice project and the outcome looks great. One of my first projects in cnc was carving a fish skeleton in a chunk of pine wood I cut from a log. My wife is very possessive of it.

Steve, nice looking plaque. Do a search for diamong drag bits and you'll find plenty of discussions about them. It's been quite some time since I used mine and that was on an acrylic project. It did a great job even with tiny images. I'd probably make a jig for the brass plates. You should be able t...

Re: Why NOT to use your cnc as a work table
Now that my table saw is maxed out, the cnc is maxed out, the drill press table, router table, sander table, etc. I am eyeing the kitchen table. First, I have to figure out how to trick my wife to move her jewelry making stuff. We just need a bigger house. No accidents here, just firewood. Merry Chr...
