Re: Using the spoil to set your Z height

Jeff, I have used both ways and I am currently using the spoil board to set my z height, you do not need to make any changes to the way you set up the job the Vectric software takes care of it for you. Re: Rotary Datum

My preferred Z0 is centerline even true if the wood is not yet round. X0 is centerline of the rotary, manually move the carriage to the center of the indexer and 0 X. Let me know if you have any further questions, my email is bravesoul1950@gmail.com.

Re: patch 10.505

Mohamed, Everytime that I click on the upgrade notice in the program I get an error from the download program that the patch could not be found. I could only do the upgrade from the url you posted below, is this an issue? Joe Here http://storage.vectric.com/patches/v10_5/Aspire/patches/Aspire_patch_...

Re: The fun walking Cane

Dave,

Thank you for the file, I will give it a try as soon as I can clean up around the end of my machine. I have a small bandsaw sawmill and have cut more wood than I will ever need and It is crowding my shop, 2 storage bldgs and a 12x20 temporary garage (from Harbor Freight).

I have Aspire 10.5 with the 4th axis, it would help me so much with other designs. I can do the basics but not...
