Re: Gallery Of Machines

I built this one over this past winter. 2020-05-02-22.56.46sm.jpg Driving it using a smoothstepper board, 2.2kw liquid cooled spindle. Re: Mixed 2d and 3d import

I'd be interested in the design as I have an old 1322 as well as a 1377 that it would probably work with. Great design. I clicked your contact info, but it's only showing a website that isn't active.

Re: Anyone have bar top arcade cabinet plans

I don't know if there are any barcade plans on the site below, but they have a lot of full sized ones that have been reproduced, free, and have vcarve downloads...

BTW, the vcarves do not contain the tool paths for most, you'll still need to add those.

Re: Family plaque

...and when you answer the question of mask, I have another. When I cut through the mask with a downcut bit, it cuts extremely well and there is no lift to the mask. But I am trying to use a 60 degree bit to put get the details of the carving, but the 60 degree/2 flute bit rips the mask and it is d...

Re: Family plaque

Do you put it over the wood then let your bit cut the painters mask and the wood at the same time or do you use a vinyl cutter and cut the painters mask then place it over the wo...

Re: Family plaque

Thanks guys and enjoy. I did a couple of coats of lacquer and let them dry on the plaque, then applied a generous layer of the minwax paste wax. I hardly let it dry before laying over the Avery paint mask (sorry don't remember the product number, but it's pretty tacky). I did the carving, then made ...
