I would like to do 2 pockets like highpockets has drawn but will i not get msg of duplicated lines if one sits over the other?

I am drawing an eye and although not quite a circle i thought it was close enough for what iwas trying to do, please see pic, but it would seem tho that it is not possible from adrian

Dividing a circle

Hi

If i draw a circle and then put a line straight through to divide it and then trim the overlap of the line is it possible to join that line to the circle to stop the open vectors?
I have tried quite a few ways but none work so far

It would seem i had the same blindness as zeighty :-D

Things fell into place when i watched the video but when i must have first seen it and not trying to solve a articular issue i dont think it all sunk in like it should have

Hi Using a onsrud 37-03 engraving cutter (used it before ok) and under the vcarve/engraving toolpath for the job i have selected what i use normally a 20deg .002"tip. Its set at dia 6.35mm, side angle 30 deg, pass as 1mm but has been up to 5mm for this test. So upon selecting the text (tried normal ...

i see that level of accuracy is not achievable in my mind with wood so i can live with .001 x 2 :-), as soon as the temp changes a degree so the wood expands or contracts. the other is that i mentioned that the outside cut of the object was spot on (not to the .001 but close enough) the cut outs and...

Here is the file i generated the g code in vectric.
i would have also added the g code generated from other software, it may have helped it may make things a whole lot worse :-), but .tap is not allowed and i thought better of renaming it at this stage
