I think that because we are all into CNC the stand needs to be CNC controlled. with the design of the gears to raise the table one could put small stepper motor to raise and lower it. and add a another to tilt the table to make the angle more comfortable to use the computer when you are standing. sorry I hit sent before I finished you need to use the biggest ballnose that will give you the detail that you need

Post your file if possible and give speeds and feed and depth of cut. It could many different things but I expect some kind of flex in the bit or your machine.

Mike I been having good luck with glued up lodgepole pine panels from Lowes. They sell them in full 1” thickness 24x48 or 24x24 They are wrapped in plastic and carve good. I agree with the other post but you might try a different type of bit your post states EM to me that says a sprail bit try a straight carbide bit one some woods I get a better cut that way but you would still need th lower the speed rate

It’s my typing. I have no feeling in my hands do to a major injury many years ago lucky I can use them at all but I won’t give up. I try to use spell Checker but sometimes I forget.

Go to YouTube do a search for VCarve inlay and watch the video by Greg’s Garage (I tryed to copy the link but for some reason it didn’t work)this video explanes thing different and show him marching the parts maybe this will help
