Re: Free Project of the Month - Parish Pump Planter
GKAS Thanks for the comments. I did not use a white wash on any of the pumps. The two out side pumps are from Tulip that a friend of mine had and gave to me in return for planning some walnut for him. The tulip is very white and easy to work with but your bits need to be sharp or you get an amazing ...

Re: Free Project of the Month - Parish Pump Planter
Michael I finally found the time to do the Parish Pump Project. It was a lot of fun and I greatly appreciate your efforts in keeping us all busy in these trying times. I ended making 3 of the pumps as my wife told my daughters that they would each have one. Management has spoken, and the work force ...

Re: Z Zero position with double sided job
Nik Don't forget that when you do the flip and want to drill the 3 pins into the table top, you must zero z to the table top, then place your project in place and re-zero Z to the surface of the project material. X & Y will be in place already from your initial setup. Good luck let us know how you m...

Re: Z ZERO POSITION WITH DOUBLE SIDED JOB
Nik I just completed a two sided carve, and I simply followed the settings in the initial material setup panel. I selected a two sided setup, and when going from the top side to the bottom side did the flip as shown in the setup panel. I then zeroed my Z on the surface of the project material in the...

Good Morning All
The problem is fixed, and all is good. Listening and reading about all the new things to try and to work with.
Thanks John for proving I'm not crazy (my mother had we tested every year to be sure lol )

Re: Machining small aluminum Braille plates
Phil I remember that at McGrew's Aspire in 2018 there was a presentation of doing this exact same thing. The fellow who put the presentation together did just as was suggested, pocketed an indent then glue in a "plastic" sphere. I seem to remember he used a tool to do the last steps. I know I have n...
