VCarve Pro For Turning
I have been using VCarve Pro on my CNC router. Now I just purchased a small CNC Metal Lathe to turn small wood items with. It has a Siemens control on it. Does anyone know if VCarve can be used to for designing items that can be turned? This may be a silly question but somehow I cannot figure it out.

Re: PathPiolot Processor
I know this seems a bit messed up. I am only missing those two files and now I cannot even drag & drop the files into the IP folder.
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

Re: PathPiolot Processor
Thanks but I still do not have those files in my processor list. Vectric emailed me the files and I cannot drag and drop them into the folder either. It has to be something simple I am missing.

Re: PathPiolot Processor
Okay, I have nothing in the folder My IP. The other folder starts with Pacer_ATC_ARCS as my first processor in the P section when going down the list of post processors. What am I missing?
Thanks.
Thanks.

PathPiolot Processor
I am a current VCarve Pro user and have been using it for my CNC router. Now I have purchased a CNC milling machine, Tormach, that has PathPilot as it's processor. I know others are using the machine that I have and am curious as to where do I find the PathPilot processor? I have looked in my Post f...

Tormach
Is anyone using VCarve on a Tormach machine? I know some people have used Cut2D on the Tormach machining centers.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Woodworking Laser
Great information folks. Thanks so much. I thought a laser over 100 watts would provide the best results and speed.

Re: Woodworking Laser
Sorry, I did not pay attention, there was another posting on lasers. I have read through the postings and see the big three. However, that said, for cutting 1/2" hard wood, what wattage of laser would I need?
Thanks.
Thanks.

When I was at the Aspire camp a couple of years ago, some of you were using lasers for engraving and cutting versus cnc routers. Now that I have a couple of years experience with routers, I am interested in lasers. I am a home hobby person, not a production shop so I would assume, there are top qual...

CNC Routing/3D Printing
I have been using my CNC router now for over a year and have really enjoyed V Carve Pro. In addition to considering upgrading to Aspire, now i am thinking of somehow combining 3D printing with my routings. Of course I have to purchase a 3D printer. Is anyone doing this kind of thing? I just can't ge...

I am just curious if anyone has carved a Darth Vadar head in wood? I am thinking of trying it but am not sure how to do it? Would it be better to scan a drawing of it and then import it to Aspire or just go ahead and try drawing it in Aspire. What would really be cool is if I could figure out how to...
