Teak

I have some and still have two large pieces left. 11 inches wide x 6 5/8 inches thick x (62 inches) and (87 inches) On the end of the piece there is a stamp of the "Star of David" I do believe...

Finial

Greetings, I have a 3D issue, been requested to make some base board corner blocks for a older home 1" square x 9" tall with 1 1/2" finial. I created the 3D profile using two rail sweep. My issue is how do I rap the second 3D profile around the first. It only needs 1/2 of the second profile (finial)...

Re: Monograms

Did you use the BOLD fonts? I have found that when doing these there is a lot of node editing just to get out the un-even lines and curves.

Re: Compass Rose

Steve, if I am understanding your question. when v-carving each pocket as it enters the profile where it narrows to a sharp point, the v-bit will z-up as it moves closer to the sharp point, leaving stock as it does. And pretty muck the opposite for the male pieces. I would highly suggest cutting som...

Re: James is moving on!

James; I wish you the very best now and in your future, this includes your family. I consider to be lucky, when you came to my small shop in Michigan for an Aspire Group. Also thankful for the custom 3D profiles you have done for me. You will be missed by many in the Aspire world, but then something...

Form tool offset

Attached is a simple drawing of a profile a customer needed on some cabinet doors. The cutting tool has a .1875 r with a .032" flat. So I off set the tool .016" outward from the vector line. But order to get the tool to cut in the proper location I had to off set it inward .032" Probably something s...
