I'm using Vectric Pro 8.5 and I'm trying to put a stl file (3d Model of Motocycle) I got off eBay into a dish and can do the model or the dish not able to put motorcycle in dish. Can this be done with Vectric Pro 8.5 or is Aspire required?
Any tips would be helpful.
Thanks

Re: Depth of cut
Having trouble with the tool path depth. It is going to deep. Can you tell me how to change that? Do i go to the edit tool and change the pass depth and make sure it only makes one pass rather than several. See it if making several in certain areas the other seem to be ok? Thanks for your help in ad...

Re: My First Three Edge Lit Acrylic Pieces
Here's a couple of acrylics that I did a while back with 3D models. The first two pictures were 1/4" acrylic and the last one was 1/2" acrylic. I used mostly ball nose 1/8" bits for the 3D parts and ran it as slow as my router would go (10000 RPMs). For the 1/2" acrylic I did a roughing pass with a...

Re: July Monthly Project: Inlay Vase
How long did the CNC time take? I tried it and changed a few of the bits sizes and took me about 5 hours of carving time. Just wondering if I made it longer by doing that. Thanks creek With the settings left as-is, it was less than 2 hours to run both files. Lots of factors can have an impact upon ...

Trying to carve in 2 different type fonts. Set depth to .125 the larger font is ok the smaller font is not deep enough. Any suggestions? Will I have to make two tool paths?
