Thanks for all the info guys. I have VCarve pro. A friend has Cut 2D and wants me to teach him
how to use the Molding toolpath. I did not think he had access to it.

Is the molding toolpath available in Cut2D? I went thru all the features but no mention of this.

The router table is a good tool for what you are doing. Start the first pass with cross grain, counter clock wise,
and the last pass will not have tear out.

Randall, Another lubricant I use for Alum and Brass is Tapmatic Edge Lube. It comes in a sleeve the size of a caulking tube. One tube could last a lifetime. I use an electric coffee cup warmer and small metal dish to keep it in liquid form. Spreading it on the surface of the metal with an acid brush...
