Re: Pieces cut cut too small
To me the most common reason for your issue is bit deflection which is why it works in the opposite direction. I always try to take small amt each time (4 - 6 steps) to help minimize this and also use .02 allowance and reverse direction for the final cut.

Re: Blanket Chest
That is beautiful and great craftsmanship!!! Would you be willing to give a tutorial on the Side Joints and the Bear Paw joints? If at all possible and possiblity that you would share a portion of each of the joints as crv or crv3d files?

Re: Resizable Template
@CtDodge, What I have done is to take the original file with toolpaths, resize my vectors and then recalculate all toolpaths, then do a save as to preserve both the orig and new files. Steve Nelson,
I noticed the apparent addition under the top to the original file, was this your mod and if so would you mind sharing that? I am going to attempt this in the next week or so and really like that add-on.

Re: Bowls without a lathe
Thanks for the quick reply, I have tons of 2" material so will have to give it a try when it warms up a little more. Shop (35' x 40' x 12'H) is out back and cold during the winter and my big rocket using diesel which is not cheap, lol.

Although I have not been active with my CNC this winter (Flu,Age, etc), I really appreciate your gadgets. I passed through Houston on my way to my Granddaughters weeding in Fredericksburg in Oct, next time I come through I would love to meet you.

You can get a free Dropbox or Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, upload the video/pictures then share the url to the group. That would be a big help.
