Re: Great British Bird Box Challenge with Tim Sway
Great job you guys (and gal). I'll be trying the guitar bird box as I also play the bass and I have several friends who would appreciate it.

Re: toolpath home position
Thank you. I found it under the Toolpath Operation. I was looking in the upper left Toolpaths tab.

I have the same issue however my Cut2D v1.507 does not have the Material Setup on the Toolpath Tab. Is that not changeable on my version?

What a great idea. I will be building a new deck soon and believe I will use this idea myself. Thanks for the great work.

Re: Cutting a Taller Part
Thanks guys. Removing the G43 cures allot. Zeroing the Mach3 Tool Table causes issues with other code not generated by Cut2D. The G43 works perfectly if you have a CNC that always loads the tool at the same z position and the Mach 3 table matches your Cut2D table. Easier to remove it, or replace it ...

Re: Cutting a Taller Part
I had the same issue. The G43 code is tool length offset. Once set it stays active. The first run the z is compensated. Second re zero of the z resets it after the offset took place. I have been manually deleting the G43 command. I will try the material setup fix. You can easily edit in mach3 by put...

Re: Safe Z with Mach3
This is all great information. Since I am learning also I was curious about "Safe-Z". I also learned about the G43 "Tool Length Offset" when I ran a G-code written by someone else. This will also drive the bit into your workpiece (as it alters the z settings in addition to the work off set) and ruin...

Re: mach3
Mach3 works fine for me also. I use the Mach2/3 Arcs (inch)(*.txt) file and have had no problems. I also suggest you download the trial versions and check with your machine.
