Re: Can’t Find This Bit
Have you tried contacting the channel owner or asking about the bit in the comments section, probably your best chance of finding the exact same bit they are using   I did ask him for the brand name but he said the info about the bit was in the tool database. I’ll contact him again and se...

Can’t Find This Bit
Morning, I've been watching Youtube videos about making inlay cutting boards (MTMWOOD channel). I bought one of his files and thought I would try it. I am having problems finding the V-bit shown. I think it’s a 30 degree bit. I'm not sure what type this is. Can anyone help. This is what he is using ...

Re: First Official Sign

I found some MDF and cut out a couple of projects and it worked out well especially when a wood grain might have detracted. do you use MDF for all your projects? This was my first time using MDF. It cut really nice. Can’t wait to t...

Re: First Official Sign
Thanks everyone
Ralph - Yes, it is the “Laughing & Smiling” font. My coworker wanted the sign to be 10” tall and that was the only way I could make it work.

First Official Sign
Made my first official sign. Coworker is redoing his daughters room and wanted her name for her wall. Total carving took around 2 1/2 hours. I primed it for him. He will paint it his daughters room colors.

Re: Need Help With Modeling
Hi, Thank you all for taking the time to help. When I finished the left wing I baked all the ribs together. It is my understanding that this will make each of these separate vectors into one vector. The right wing I left as individual vectors. If you look through my large layer list you'll see I hav...

Re: Need Help With Modeling
If you look at the 2nd picture you'll see some of the material is not being removed. If I remove all but those 2 ribs of the left wing (ribs 3 & 4) and recalculate the toolpath the material will be removed. If I add the 5th rib and recalculate the toolpath (ribs 3, 4 & 5) I'm back to having some of ...

Re: Stool Plans (Russell Crawford's)
Russell,
I am interested in purchasing your stool plans and was wondering if you have a price for both the short and tall stools? I would be interested in both.
Thanks
Ron

Hello all, Isvien, Thank you for the explanation. That did not cross my mind. KeithW, At the beginning I forgot to turn off the bitmap layer but then remembered and it was still there. Here is a picture of the scan I did of the design from the magazine. Butterfly Scan.jpg After I did my material set-up I imported my bitmap and then chose Bit ...
