Spindle Frequency?

I bought and installed a new 1.5kw water-cooled spindle with an inverter to run it. Now whenever I switch the spindle on it triggers my limit switches (in Mach 3) and I can only reset it when the spindle is not running. I'm virtually at a standstill. Any help?

Spindle speed

I use a spindle with a speed controller which is a stand-alone (not configured to the Mach3 software I use). What process or procedure can I use to determine what speed (rpm) my spindle is running.

Tool change and Auto zero plate

I want to do two passes (roughing and finishing) with two different bits. Using the auto zero plate to get my zero reference in roughing is no problem. I'll like to know the best way to get z zero ref. after changing to the finishing tool in the home position.

Wired Remote Control

My CNC machine is a DIY which uses a uses a TOSHIBA (TB-6560) driver board controller for the motors. It has a 15-pin input for wired remote control but I can't find any wired remote that is compatible. Any help from those familiar with this driver board?

RE: WRONG SCALE

I think what zeeway said theoretically makes sense. Will check the mach3 manual (which I must confess I skipped some of the topics), and hopefully will help solve this nagging problem. Will have you posted.

Wrong Scale

I'm new to this. I designed a few texts on Cut2D and used Mach3 to cut a profile, but the output is about double the dimensions I designed. I had to edit the Z axis plunges in order not to break my bit (which I did already on two tries). What am I doing wrong.
