Re: Joining close open vector on one end

The lines are set inside various shapes. So far the easiest way to do what I need to do is manually.

Re: Joining close open vector on one end

Adrian,
They are single lines. I'm using the offset tool to offset them .005. The files are files that they are currently cutting from. They are using Enroute and have an option to cut along a single line.

Re: Joining close open vector on one end

Mark, The keyhole gadget won't work for what I need to do. It may work if I only had a couple of keyholes. What I need to do is have the start and start point in the same location or very close. That is why I have to offset the lines and join them. I have 50+ files that I have to setup and toolpath ...

Yep, I was in IT for 27 years and I thought I've heard them all but that is the first I've heard of the PICNIC error. Love it. My favorite is the ID 10 T error. Lol

Re: Alternate line starting points

Mike,
The problem is that the files have hundreds of lines on several layer. If would be nice to select all the lines on a layer and have the start point flip. Selecting every other line is not an option.

Alternate line starting points

I would like to see a gadget that would alternate the starting point for a series of lines. Example if you have a series of open vertical lines and the start point is at the bottom of all the lines. The gadget would alternate the start points from bottom to top or top to bottom. This would be very h...
