3-d in reverse
I am a greenhorn with this aspire program. My grandson is learning with me. He wants to take one of the predone 3-d models and make it in reverse. In otherwords he wants to carve it down into the substrate rather than having it raised. I am sure this can be done but the question is how does one tack...

Help please
I am trying to machine the tiny boxes that were so kindly posted on the forum, however I am using .75 inch wood and do not know how to scale the dado's accordingly. I am using Aspire, can someone out there tell me where to go in the program to do this or how to widen the pockets for the thicker wood...

broken bit in the middle of carving
I broke a bit in the middle of a piece. Can someone tell me the steps to restart? I have not moved the router. It is still setting where the bit broke. I am using Aspire and WinCNC. I have saved my home position. I am a real newbie so I need step by step instructions. If this was a simple design I w...

Re: Wood putty? Epoxy? or what
Many thanks to everyone who offered suggestions./ What we finally did to solve the problem is cut some off of the prior sign that we ruined and glue them in place. Worked very nicely. Actually they were easier to paint than the ones that we did not have to repair. Again thank everyone. I learned sev...

Re: christmas ornaments
Thank You very much for your generosity. I will give it a try. I hadn't thought of bulbs. I was thinking of snowflakes and bells. I love it when someone else expands your thought process.
Thanks again Kathy

Re: Wood putty? Epoxy? or what
David,
I thought of that but I cannot seem to unbake the components in order to make them closer together on one board. Do you know how to unbake or separate a component in order to re arrange?
Thanks Bill and Kathy

Wood putty? Epoxy? or what
I did an OUTDOOR SIGN carving on wood with raised rivets around the edge. Some of the rivets chipped off. Anyone have any ideas how to build them up? I am attaching a picture so hopefully some one can send me a suggestion.
Thanks so much

Re: Needing help
The model does have curved letters but when I cut them they are flat on top. I have no idea why.
