Re: Squaring up Axis

I recently moved my machine and have been trying to figure out a way to square it up. While I have read your post I am not able to envision what is being done. Would you have some pictures that would show what you are doing?

Thanks,
Alan

Re: Maloof style Rocking Chair plans for sale

Russell, I am interested in purchasing the plans. I have limited wood working equipment and am concerned about what might be needed to build these. Could you list any large pieces of wood working equipment that is needed to build these great rocking chairs if the wood is purchased as S2S and one edg...

CarveOne,
How were the MDF molds prepared so that the fiberglass and resin do not stick to them?

Re: Creating a 3D Model

Thanks for the help. I am still learning what Aspire can do. I was able to figure out how to create it in AutoCAD. Now to watch some of the videos on 2 sided machining, at least I think I saw one on it.

Creating a 3D Model

I am trying to create a simple 3D wing for a small model plane in Aspire. I have an airfoil for the root and an airfoil for the tip, both are in a dwg format. The tip airfoil is the same as the root but scaled to 70%. Is there a way in Aspire to import these two airfoils, set them to a distance apar...

The bits that I have been using are the Onsrud 37 series. Pictures are attached. Are these D-Bits?

Re: Acrylic UGH! Not Flat.

Graham, I am very new to this and have a basic question. Your braille signs are acrylic and the first picture looks to be clear while the second is black with white lettering. In the second is the acrylic black or is it colored somehow? Also, for the white lettering is that printed or painted on let...
