Re: Downloading Software

I sent them an email, but I'm sure I'll not hear anything until tomorrow. I was hoping to get back to my project and get it finished in time. I guess that isn't going to happen.

Re: Downloading Software

You are logging in first? Image 649.png Did you purchase the software direct for Vectric or did it come with your CNC? Yes, I'm logged in. It welcomes me with my name. I purchased the software direct and have done upgrades in the past. I've downloaded the clipart also, without problems in the past....

Downloading Software

Hello to all,

My computer crashed, and it being a Windows 7 machine, I decided to upgrade.
The problem is, I can't seem to find where I download my software in my portal.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Re: Bowls without a lathe

Those are nice. I was making them last year, with the domed lids and 3D relief on the lids.
One of them I made was a shell dish, and it had a 3D shell for the lid.

Beagle Plaque

I don't think I ever shared a pic of the final product. This is the only pic I got before delivering it.

It did finally turn back to a purple color. Just not the original purple.

Re: Dividing a circle

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question, but it sounds like he might be wanting the dividing line to be connected to the full circle, and not just making it a half circle. If that's the case, I've tried it several times, with different shapes, and was unsuccessful. If there is a way, I would be inte...

Re: Party Jacks

Going to use Poplar. It's pretty light, cuts great, paints easily (if I decide to paint them), and they will only be 8", so not too big.
If they turn out nice, I may make large ones for exterior display next year.

Party Jacks

I'm preparing to cut several of these, in a few different designs, for a Halloween party we are attending tomorrow. I figure they can be used as decoration for the party, and each guest can choose one to take home with them. I will cut them from 1" stock, so the 3D will be more prominent. https://i....

Re: Help with Geometry

Amazing video Micheal. Very similar to what I did, however, I'm not quite as articulate at explaining how I accomplish a task.
Thank you!

Re: Help with Geometry

I only spent a few minutes, but this is what I came up with. It's all triangulated. Fairly simple using copy array.

Re: Easy US Flag Maker

Correct dimensions.
This was drawn mathematically, using the correct dimensions.
I have the file saved since I've done these for some friends in the UK.
They are quite specific about their flag, as many Americans are.

Re: Easy US Flag Maker

On the Union Jack flag... The diagonal red cross, representing St. Patrick's Cross of Ireland, should not have flat spots at the center. The stripes have sharp points, as the entire flag does. The points shouldn't be cropped off to a flat. There are several guides on the correct scale and dimensions...

Re: Getting good use from a single model

The dragon is pretty close to what I had before planing. Mine was a little brighter, maybe more of a violet. Could be like you say, subspecies, or maybe region. I placed it near the furnace register, and it has a little more purple today, but still not what I'm hoping for. We haven't seen any sun in...
