Here are my latest presentation pieces. The clock mounting was to simulate a seasprite helicopter control panel with the visor.
The large block was to represent a hat badge.

Hello everyone, thanks for the comments. "What type of paint do you use?" Just used acrylic paint, i think the key is sealing the sign in between the "colour" and the stain coat so as you can get the wiped effect. So, Both of the pieces used on the coin holder are American oak, the base is burnt oak it is "cooked" in an oven and burnt all the way through interesting stuff. The base for the School to the skies is mahogany inlay-ed with Malaysian Kauri , school to skies is an program run by the Royal New Zealan...

He is a coin holder i made for a customer that wanted to be able to see both sides.
Also a v-carve inlay for a presentation block with some turbine vanes mounted on it.
