Re: Removing raised text from purchased STL
Did you try using the "Smooth" sculpting tool set to "Lower?" I've tried the Scuplting tool at various "Strengths" with limited success. Trying to keep it all in Aspire but from some of the videos I've looked at some editing software may work. Looks like you can "paint" the surfaces you want to rem...

Removing raised text from purchased STL
Hello all, I have a purchased STL file that included raised text with very thin serif and the detail gets lost while carving. I'd like to remove the text down to the curved ribbon area and replace with a v-carved text. I've accomplished this in the past on flat consistent areas by cropping with a ve...

Re: 2016 Vectric User Group (USA and UK) Announced
Thank you James and Am and the rest of the Vectric crew for working with all of us. Being from Ohio I've never paid so much attention to the track of a hurricane before and trying to make the decision "Should I stay or should I go now" (UK Clash reference). I'm getting upset just thinking about the ...

Re: 2016 Vectric User Group (USA and UK) Announced
I just made the tough decision to pull the plug on the trip. Kirby at the hotel said she's hearing it may make FL landfall now and a Cat 4 is a lose your roof type storm. I've been looking forward to this since it was announced and it would be my first User Group so I'm pretty upset. Hopefully Vectr...

Re: 2016 Vectric User Group (USA and UK) Announced
I'm in the same boat with Southwest. They said the chance of getting stuck in ATL are high depending on the storm strength/speed. (which has changed several times today). I emailed Am yesterday but no response as of this time. Mike have you seen anyone from Vectric there yet?

Re: Ferguson Shield Help
Is this what you are looking for. Hello Cowboy, I just happened to trip across this posted badge and was wondering where you got the pattern or was this something you created yourself. Many of my family and myself are in the law enforcement community and I would love to create a badge like that for...

Re: Ship's Cannon
I'm another late to the request game. I actually saw this on Pintrest and linked across to the Vectric site. Really nice work as you have time I'd like to use the files for a winter project. Here's my email sales@workedwood.com and thanks in advance.
