Re: Perpendicular lines

Thank you 4D. I am involved with roofing construction geometry for apprentices. i normally do this all out on a sheet of birch ply. this new facility in Aspire has given me the inspiration to create this in Aspire. I think if i can get around this in aspire it will be a great learning tool to give u...

Re: Perpendicular lines

Hi Folks . Things are going well. Working great for the perpendicular lines. Can anyone say if there is a way of making dotted lines to show hidden detail, This is a great way of removing the chance of marking lines on the wrong side.
Can anyone help?
Thanks alan

hI 4DTHINKER. Think i have got it now. 1 convert line to node function pic 1 2 insert node just away from determined intersection point. pic 2 3 drag node along line to intersection point pic 3 4 centre icon will be visable when node is over the correct position. pic 4 5 select line , start over ins...

Re: Perpendicular lines

Hi 4DTHINKER. I would not have dimensions as it is just intersecting lines which are giving me the position of which i need to project from. I feel if i can master this it opens a lot of potential for my normal hand skill drawing. Maybe there is something i am just not catching onto.

Hi Folks. I have a particular instance in roofing geometry where most of the geometry is obtained by perpendicular lines . how accurate can i be with inserting a node point.

Re: Perpendicular lines

Hi Folks. I think the new geometry and snaps are a fabulous resource . i seem to be having a bit of difficulty creating a perpendicular line from any given point on a line. If i locate the start point on an end snap or centre snap the right angle image shows perfectly. but as said if i select an non...
