Re: phantom hole punch
Hello joechompa. Is this a Drilling Toolpath that you are referring to? If yes, as well as the circles for the drill positions, could you also have selected the inner of the two rectangles in your screenshot? The Arrow that you you have drawn appears to be very close to the center of that rectangle....

Re: PM's
Hello jengleha,
PM's that you send will remain in your outbox until read by the recipient.
You can delete the message from your outbox by marking the message with the checkbox on the right hand side of the message and selecting Delete from the drop down list.
I hope that this helps.
Cheers,
Mark.

Hello Oliver, Sorry to hear that you have had problems accessing your software. Looking at your Vectric V&Co. Portal account page, the product does seem to be listed correctly as far as I can see. To access your PhotoVCarve software and license, please login to your V&Co. Portal account page, on the...

Re: UCCNC & Rotary Control
Hello Ted,
I don't think that we have a standard UCCNC rotary post processor, could you please post up the post processor that you are using so that we can check it out? We should be able to let you know whether it should be working.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Mark.

Re: terms used in post processors
Hello lappa. Your forum profile mentions that you are running a Grbl based machine tool. If this is the machine that you are looking for a post processor for, the standard Grbl mm and Grbl inch post processors are probably the ones best suited for your machine tool. Those post processors do contain ...

Re: Looking form Tutorials or You Tube Videos regarding Z Zero from Machine Bed
Hello Bill, They never answered my email. All emails to Vectric support are answered in the first instance with an automated reply that supplies a ticket number for the inquiry. If you could let me have that ticket number, I will look into why you never received a reply. Many thanks in advance. Chee...

Re: Crude segments to circles how to make one entity and smooth?
Hello, Instead of importing a DXF file, it might be better to import the .SKP file directly into VCarve. On the SketchUp import form, under the "Create Circles / Arcs" section, check the "Create circles for polygons" option, VCarve should replace the straight line approximations with circles constru...

Re: Arbitrary circles on Snapmaker
I have been using the trial version of Vcarve and the post processor embedded in the software and I am getting the circles as well. The only file I can actually save the tool path or Gcode for is the Avalon sample file. I like the program and how it works but can't afford to spend $500 CAD to see i...

Re: Inside Corner Radius Mis-Match
Hello, Are you seeing the same result within the 3D toolpath preview window? As Adrian has mentioned, if you are seeing arbitrarily sized radii in the corners your problem is most likely due to the constant velocity settings of Mach4. The following document may help. The document was written for Mac...

Re: router feed pausing at corners
Hello JP. There are no G4 dwell commands within the code, so there is nothing in the code that is telling the machine to pause at the corners. As Martin mentioned, it might be best to have a chat with your machine tool supplier and ask if anything can be done to speed up execution of the code. Possi...

I have removed the duplicate posts. As Leo has correctly commented, the latest version of your software will always be available from your Vectric V&Co. Portal account page. If you are a single user of the software and have exclusive use of the computers, you can install the software on up to 3 comp...

Re: Group object loose layer assignment
Hello, =the layer color assignment goes away until you ungroup them. The layer color assignment does not change as such, when you group a number of vectors, those vectors are moved to the layer that is the active layer at the time that you create the group. For as long as the group exists, the vecto...
