Re: College and Football Logos
JD, I really like your work. Simple, small and clean-cut. I would be interested in looking at a few of your v-carve files to see how you did some of them. I would be interested mainly in the following: Duke, William and Mary, Patriots, and Steelers. Any others that you wanted to send my way would be...

Re: Hand mirrors
Great work, Bud! I like the simple design... nice curves, nothing fancy. I was wondering if you were still going to post your files for this? I have a couple of people that I would love to do something like this for. As a new user to VCarve, there is so much to learn... sometimes it is easier to "bo...

Re: Last Years Advent Calendar
That's a great idea! I totally agree with your philosophy about over-doing it. :D As a side note, I am a new user to VCarve Pro. Looking at the designs that you used on your project made me wonder if the Advent designs from last year are posted any where? I have been keeping up with this years downl...

Re: And yet another LED edge-lit project
Thanks, Dave! Great idea using the 80/20! If I could be so bold to ask... if you had a moment, would you be willing to post some photos of just the base so we could get an idea of how the LEDs were routed and what mods you did to the end-caps?
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks,
Jim

Re: And yet another LED edge-lit project
Dave, I like your sign! Would you be willing to share some details about how you constructed your base? Materials used, where you got them, etc?
Thank you,
Jim
Thank you,
Jim

Re: 3d mesh pitbull edge lit sign
@Xxray - I am new to the forum, and when I go to Private Messaging, it says that I am not authorized to send private messages. I'm not sure how to fix that. Could you email me the DXF? My email address is jim [dot] winchell [at] att [dot] net.
Thanks!
Jim

Re: 3d mesh pitbull edge lit sign
@Xxray - I received my diamond drag bit and will be testing it out this weekend. I have a 9 year old nephew that is a HUGE Detroit Tiger fan. Would you be willing to share your file that you used to do that? I am running VCarve Pro 7. I'm still trying to get used to the software and the art of clean...

Re: 3d mesh pitbull edge lit sign
@Xxray - OK, thanks... that makes sense. One other question I had was how much stepover did you use when doing your pockets? I ordered the diamond drag bit that you recommended in one of your previous posts.
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks,
Jim

Re: 3d mesh pitbull edge lit sign
@Xxray - First of all, I want to compliment you on your work and your willingness to share your knowledge! Second, I have a question regarding your response to Kym below... You mentioned on the Harley sign, that it is all pocketed, yet in the previous sentence you mentioned no vcarve. Can you clarif...
