I actually entered this tool as a V-Bit. It sounds like this is a mistake and I should re-enter it as Engraving with a side angle of 30. Is this correct? I'll take a look at the speed information you sent tomorrow.

As always you guys are right-on and have saved this old-timer time and frustration. The problem was the plunge rate setting for the new tool added to the tool database.

Your on to something! You have jogged this old-timers brain matter!
I entered a new tool into the database with this one. I will go back and check the feed rate settings and try again. I'm not well versed in reading G-code. Hope that's the issue.
