Thanks Guys!!, Jim totally agree on the seem! I under estimated the carve time drastically and ran out of time to feather it in a little more! I will give your suggestion a try on the next one, that makes sense. Fortunately in person the seem isn't as visible as the picture! This is my break through...

I like this project! Cut from cherry measures approx. 12x12 and painted with hammered black then airbrushed gold and copper!! I used a 0.125EN to do the cuts...

I know this is an old post but I just did my 1st interlocking monogram cutout and already have ways to improve it... I purchased a vine font and manipulated it in vcarve until I got what I want!!

This was a fun project! A guy shows up at the shop with the end of a wine barrel and says can I turn it into a shadow box for him.... I said yeap and got to work.
