Re: GRBL post
Thanks for the reply, so the 10 is a multiplier of the 1? or does the 10 workout to be a multiplier for a percentage? I guess what I'm questioning is- when the software askes for the laser power and in my case its 20w, is the post taking that value and making its calculations based on the 20w?

GRBL post
I'm trying to understand the openbuilds post to run my atomstack 20w diode laser. In trying to dial in the laser on different materials. I have the option on the laser its self to adjust in increments of 1, 10 and 20%, after making the machine adjustments I have taken that back into Aspire and adjus...

I'd be willing to cut it for you. I have a rotary and some more advanced software for rotary paths. Do you only have the file in stl format?

I have a coworker that is wanting to join, he requested 2 weeks ago and nothing has happened. So I wasn't sure if ownership was a requirement.

Re: Epoxy river leaf table insert
Not sure about longevity only time will tell, but I can say that the epoxy sure does bite very well so I don't believe that it will let go of the wood. While pouring you can see the epoxy starting to soak into the fibers.

Re: Epoxy river leaf table insert
Was able to finally finish my table insert. Very happy with how this turned out. I have been busy experimenting with other types of wood as well as other shapes and color fills. Too many ideas and not enough time or money to do them all. Story of my life.

Re: TRACERY SHARP CORNERS ADVICE
One thing to consider is when viewed from the back side the corner is sharp and the taper is pulling away so you don't see the what taper the tool has left.

Re: Thread cutting
All I did was took values from the "Current Thread Description" window that populates from using the gadget. I use those min and max values for my diameters for the rotary work. Hand coding is fine as well, I just prefer to doing it via software. I am using a 90 degree V bit for the rotary work and ...
