Hi mezalick,
I know this is an old thread, but I wonder if you could tell me how to get the shoulder on the rectangle part of the leg?
Couldn't figure out how to PM you!
Thanks!

Re: WTH? Split model doesn't line up
Thanks for the comments!
Steven, the model was given to me split in half. I used aspire to slice it horizontally.
Still trying to figure it out.
I did double check that the all profiles were cut outside/right of the vector and both halves were on the same zero plane...

WTH? Split model doesn't line up
It always happens on a rush job... Client gave me a 3dm and stl file of the model. It contained the full model for reference and then one split into two parts so that it would fit within a 4x8 sheet. The model is 12" at its highest, so I'm cutting it in 3" layers EPS 2lb foam. Got the first half don...

Re: We’re coming to DENVER! Save the date & book your place!
Just booked for the seminar, but the Embassy Suiye rooms are now $380 per night!
Might there be anyone who has already booked that would like to share their suite? I’d be glad to pay half of your discounted rate!

Re: How do I ramp a pocket tool path?
I am also getting a Parameter Error(?) before I run the file.
"Parameter Value Below Range for VS- Setting to Lower Limit (.05)!
Can anyone point me to the section in the manual that explains?

Re: How do I ramp a pocket tool path?
Thanks Isla,
One more dumb question! I am correct to think that the blue line is the ramp? Just curious why it still shows a plunge straight down.

Re: How do I ramp a pocket tool path?
Thanks much! Just trying a test now.
My confusion is the depth... I only want the spoil board surface pass to be .01 so that is where my tool depth is set. If I change it to .25" won't I be surfacing the entire surface at .25"?

How do I ramp a pocket tool path?
Hello, I got a new surfacing bit- Amana RC 2250 1-1/2" and it recommends to ramp down to a depth of 1/4" deep over a 20" run. I think I used to know how to set this up but its been a while and I can't find it on the forums. I see the "ramp plunge moves" box on the pocket tool path set up, but I'm no...

Re: Help- optimizing Moulding Tool paths
Ah, here it is. As you can see I used the outside curve for the rail and swept it with the profile below it. The clearing path was right where I wanted it, but the finishing path comes over the top surface of the part. Not cutting, just taking s long time cutting air

Help- optimizing Moulding Tool paths
Hi there, So I learned how to use the moulding toopath today. I have these long curved shapes cut do out of 1.5” MDF in the profile shown. Screen grabs are from the test length. The Profile sweep clearing path goes only where I want it, down the side of the bevel. But as you can see, the finishing p...

Fluted tapered legs tutorial?
Hi there!
Does anyone know if there is a tutorial out there for making a fluted and tapered table leg with the rotary indexer?
I'm really close to finish the file and toolpaths for the leg itself, I just need to know how to add the fluting on the tapered part!
Many thanks!!

Re: Nesting parts disappear
Even after adjusting the settings- it still replaces the one part with a pair of the other part
