Re: Z Height Limit
It sounds like at some point the post processor was modified to prevent something like that and now with the new install on the new computer it is back. If you're OK with modifying your post processor the change is easy. The following is an excerpt from the Techno Isel inch post processor from VCarv...

Re: Error message in gsender
Vectric will take care of converting inches to mm when the job is saved.
The Yorahome forum mentions that the machine's controller is grbl-based. (See here) You might want to use the grbl post-processor rather than generic g-code.

Re: Need advice on fluting a large area
Now that I’ve had a bit to think about this: if the slot walls in the sketch above are supposed vertical then angling the material to cut the slot with a pocket toolpath won’t help much unless you cut two pockets first angling the material to the left and another angling it to the right. If you just...

Re: Need advice on fluting a large area
I am aiming for no flat spot ... With that wall on the left-hand side of the image you'll always have a flat spot as the bottom of the bit is parallel to the table and your bit will be stopping at the wall. If the bit could "go off the edge" you wouldn't get a flat. Can you fixture the acrylic at t...

Re: Zheight
For all the world this sounds like a case of job Z Zero is set to material surface and the machine thinking Z Zero is at the machine bed (or vice-versa). Presuming that 20.32 is a metric mm value the inch value is 0.8 which is the Vectric default value for the Z gap above material that Gary pointed ...

Re: Design and Make
3D finish toolpaths always contact the surface of the model in “one pass”. You limit them from cutting “over the edge” by using the Selected Vector option. The vectors to limit the cut, I believe, are provided with the D&M models.

Review the image you just posted and between "Tolerance Angle" and "Toolpath Name" you'll find your answer.

Re: drilling a convex hole
A marble is convex. The hole you want is concave. If you have ball-end router bit that has a similar diameter to the marble you could use that either with a drilling toolpath or a pocket toolpath if the ball-end diameter is less than the marble diameter. Questions about cutting holes for marbles to ...

Re: Tiling question
is there a way that I can just cut the radius on the end in the profile cut? Yes. One to do that is... Don’t think that you need to do everything with the vectors you have. Copy the outer profile to a new layer (call it “Corners”). Turn off "Layer 1” use the node edit tools to cut the nodes where t...

Yeah. Yeah! Well, I remember when Corel was first created because a Canadian (Ottawa-based) company was going show those Silicon Valley people how it was done.

Re: Pocket holes with flat sides
Thanks but I don't know what you mean by "true circles". True circles are circles created by the circle tool. Could it be something in my controller? If by controller you mean your CNC machine's controller then no. I've tried recalculating the toolpath and a higher resolution. I think we're talking...
