3D finish toolpaths always contact the surface of the model in “one pass”. You limit them from cutting “over the edge” by using the Selected Vector option. The vectors to limit the cut, I believe, are provided with the D&M models.

Review the image you just posted and between "Tolerance Angle" and "Toolpath Name" you'll find your answer.
