ya it was sitting on a different "tool" aka pretty much the same tool i use just never thought to check that part because the first thin i did was change the pass depth on the tool i always used an it still kept giving me the 2 passes instead of one but now its fixed!! im pretty new to upgrading and...

so i recently upgraded to vcarve 9.0 and i had it set to where if the cut was deeper than the width of the end mill i was using (.25) about 95% of the time it would only do one pass to cut everything out but if i was cutting on 3/8 too 1/2 inch it would do two passes does anyone no how to make it go...

im glueing mdf down to like a plastic/ fiberglass piece set up with my vaccum and i can get the edges of the mdf sealed there is spots all over the sheet that leak an havent had any luck with glue last time we used three different types an still wants to pull up in spot an not seal liquid nail const...

does anyone else have an issue getting it to stay glued down for whatever reason ive been doing this job for about 5-6 months and have had issues with it twice now any recommendations also does anyone know where you could order a surface board that cover the entire table so i can stop cutting a boar...

yeah the felt is going to be used on another plasma cnc an its used to clean the rail off of metal dust and such so i cant really use any sort of adhesive but i like the idea of using two peices of plastic or wood to clamp it down ill give it a shot an get back to you all

Has anyone ever tried using there machine to cut out detailed 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch piece of felt to make way wipers for a plasma cnc i have been experimenting with the dragknife but its hard to keep the felt down on the table for it to cut precisely where it need to be any help would be great!

the other day i was cutting a sheet out as normal an the machine just shut down in the middle of it an the computer shut off and rebooted all on its own and left me with this code HICON PLUG :1.32.3,Board :7752, FW 1.81 any ideas why it occured or how to prevent this would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Dropped down to 1/2" board, then surfaced both sides bringing it to roughly .45"

Are you really trying to pull vacuum through particle board, or did you mean to say MDF? My mistake, I meant MDF. I have went through and checked for leaks on all of the piping and machined both sides of it. The issue is not enough air moving through the board. I ordered some 1/2" MDF, hoping by th...

Have you checked your vacuum system to ensure there aren't any leaks? Guessing you already have it zoned so you can shut off sections not in use. Have you sealed the edges of the board? Any thoughts on what spoilboard to use for a large machine? I use 48"x120" and I think my 3/4" low-density particle board is killing my suction.

Once you've downloaded the exe file you need to run it by double clicking on it. That will then install all the files in the correct locations automatically.
