When using the model preview to check tool paths etc it can often be a slow process depending on part complexity, tools used and speeds. The wizard is correct. Theroughing pattern is a normal RASTER. However, with the finish cut I selected the OFFSET option and this produced a progressive elipse. I changed to normal RASTER on the finish and it worked. I am still none the wiser about the elipse. For those others that were good enough ...

When I mirror/rotate parts I am finding that the original registration of parts and associated holes will shift by 3 - 4mm in the actual cut parts that have been mirrored/rotated.
