Aah....I think you're more correct Steve.
At 4'ish when I looked at the pic the 2 closest edges looked as if as they went deeper,
there was a flat that got wider.
Just zoomed on pic and yours is keeping more with the pic.
Optical delusion before coffee fully consumed. :)

30 engraving done....hate the way the flash bounced on the fresh oil, but I can live with these.
Still has a trace of Bloodwood/Oil slurry that may brush out in a few hours.

It's begun :shock: Bloodwood was taken town to .235" and then 220/400/600G, and a coat of linwax yesterday. Flatness IS king...should have skimmed spoilboard just before these cuts, as calipers show .23-.245" :oops: Bloodwood as mentioned were the striped culls from 50+ Ocooch 4X24X.25" blanks. But ...

Shame about no berry picking this year Michael. It's a year of weather records, and that may be it. In recorded weather, #2 in least snow in March,#2 in hottest/driest June, and #2 in wettest July. And even moderate drought affects the 2 beekeepers I know, so maybe no pollination? drought 1 month ag...

Aah....DUCT TAPE! :) :) JUST had to dig through mine to find the Duck Brand No-Residue (can't find it in a recent search, so went with 3M removable..hope it has the same characteristics!) (Ace Hardware(mine at least) doesn't carry the Ace Brand in/outdoor fiberglass 1.88" tape either:) Time to start...
