Martin, I could be way off, but my feeble memory thought ver 11 came out July 2021, and ver 11.5 in October 2022,
So I too was expecting to hear a ver 12 announcement.
Hopefully this is addressed at the UGM going on now.
Best,
Ian

This is an example, if I attempt to engrave the text, I will get an error message indicating that there are vectors needing help. Using the vector validator tool this is an example of the results. All the little squares indicate an issue needing resolution.

Martin & Adze,
Thank you. I am quite rusty, having moved twice in 18 months, and just getting back into CNC.
I had searched, but I guess had the wrong words, as that post did not come up.
That gives me enough to likely sovle this.
Thank you!!

Aspire Included Fonts, anyone else having this issue?
With the recent released upgrade, I finally upgraded all my computers, had to use the full install as I was a bit behind. Now all of my installs (Shop & desk) there seems to be a significantly reduced variety of fonts, and worse nearly all need a lot of work via vector validator to be useable. Am I ...

Re: San Diego 2022 User Group Meeting
I would like to say thank you to the Vectric staff for once again having a great event. I know how much work it takes to put on such a professional show, and still retain that “family” feel. Getting one-on-one time with various staff was wonderful, and that Jim’s not possible online. I thoroughly en...

Stephanie,
I should have tickets from the 2020 UG, but I don't see tickets in my entitlements. Please can you verify I'm good to attend.
Thank you very much,
Ian Martin

Re: NextWave's Chess pieces on a 4th axis rotary
You could just use the rotary as an automatic flipper. Meaning run the toolpaths with the 4th axis set, then put in the command to rotate 190, then run the second set. You could then put all the toolpaths with the same bit in a single file, just manually insert that rotate command. Don't forget to r...

Re: issue with 4th axis project
this is my first project with this process. somehow the resultant .tap code has Z co-ords that do not make sense. I am using current 10.5 Aspire and the CNC is a NWA Shark Pro. The piece to carve is a 1.25in dia x 7in long dowel that I want to carve "TEST" into it. I am using a 60Deg V bit and the ...

I'm booked! I feel like I won the lottery, this is great! No traveling, no hotels.... just parking ...
Really like the location in the valley verses downtown.
That is still a healthy drive Randall,
