Re: Gluing Plexi Glass

Had some 3/8" plexi scrap. Milled the window out
done a pocket / cutout. Boom siliconed edges and
done. Really turned out great.
I was over thinking the task! But I learned some things.
Thanks for the replies!

Re: Gluing Plexi Glass

What I'm doing is using a plastic box 8 x 10 with a door on it. I want to have a window 2 x 3 in the door of the box. I have already cut the hole in the door and have the window cut to size. I have already done one previously and when I applied super glue around the edges to seal them, the plexi gla...

Thanks for the quick reply John!
When gluing two flat pieces together to make it
thicker does the glue distort the view thru the
glued pieces??

Re: Edge Lit Signs

I have done several edge lite clock, rotating gear signs this past year. While I like plexi glass, it does collect dust easily. I made a weave pattern clock for my wifes kitchen and I found a clock at the Dollar store for less than five dollars. I took the glass lens out of it and used that as the l...

Re: Start point

Thanks! That explains it. I had never had it change it so many times on a
minor edit.

Start point

I have a file that has lots of letters and numbers that I'm cutting for Christmas. Everything is laid out and I cut a sample. Need some minor changes in a letter or two. Cut another sample and the start point is completely different. Need another minor change, one letter. and cut another sample and ...

Re: LED Edge Lit Clocks

I'll try the glow in the dark paint. Being able to see
the time is also important.
Thanks for the reply!

LED Edge Lit Clocks

I've made several edge lit clocks. Each one turns out better. One ongoing problem I have is the hands on the clock face does not show up real well. Even with all the different colors the leds can produce the hands still are hard to see. I have black, white, gold, and silver hands with all the same r...

Organizing Tool Paths

I have done several searches but still have a quick question;
In using layers can one keep the tool paths with the respective
layers.
It sure would help if you did not have such a lengthy list of
tool paths.
Thanks for any help!!

Re: Croping a Photo

I tried a couple of attempts on some scrap.
Did not turn out. Funny how my mind thinks of
things that I can not do. LOL
Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Croping a Photo

Thanks everyone. I'll try the trace idea. I had thought of that
but thought it could be done in one of the photo programs.
Thanks Gerry for the tip on .png
