I have a chainsaw yard at our gallery and get more than a few projects for Gnome and Fairy carvings in Stumps. This lady had very specific ideas for a fairy stepping out of an over sized knot in small tree.. So following is some glimpses into submitting and idea in a small carving, changes to the mo...

lord of the Kings

One more piece of Steam punk to post

This started with a 36" steampunk King Salmon out of a local spruce slab, than used some scrap lumber slabbed together for the back ground words.

Steampunk is such loose, fun artwork to play with.. All designed in Aspire.

Enjoy.

Re: dxf files for a laser

how does Aspire drive the laser?

I use Mach as the controller for my CNC.

this little laser comes with control software... that is not great, so an alternate would be great.

dxf files for a laser

I purchased a small Laser that I want to use the create logo's on the back of my CNC carvings.

looks like I need to great DXF files and I am hoping I can design them in Aspire. Is it possible to do that?

steam punk salmo

I like the mix that Steam punk brings to art work, kind of the Jazz music of the art world, a mix of industrial hardware with a Jules Vern twist combined with the soft curves of the natural world. So after much ponder I bought the steampunk package of files from Steam punk Elements ( found under Ste...

slicing with Aspire

I have put off trying to slice a model with Aspire, but have a few projects that just need depth beyond my Z range, so am taking a test run here. Started out reviewing Ms Beki's training video on the Apple.... She does a great job. Than laid out this design.. An owl in a Gnarly olde tree with a snow...
