What about the save at the bottom of the last step? This produces a TAP file. Does the TAP file work with Carve Pro? How do I proceed to carve the file?

When I complete the setup process for a new tool path and go to save, the only option available is .tap. How do I save as a .pvc file to carve the project????

When I go to my Tool List it is Blank. The program defaults to the 60 degree V Bit. It will let me Edit that bit. What has gone wrong and how do I get my Tool List back?

So after you engrave the brass plate, you cut it out form the sheet with what bit? Does it make a clean cut. I do engraved plates for trophies and plaques so I need good clean edges when cut out.

Will any of our normal bits (like end mills) cutout .020 brass plates cleanly? Also what hold downs do you use to keep the plate stationary? When doing a cutout how do you hold the cutout piece in place?

Can someone help me select the best tool to engrave brass plates?????? I am pretty confused after talking to several suppliers. Also to just scratch coloring off of painted brass plate, is it the same tool as engraving into unpainted plate. How do you cut th brass plate after engraving?

I have a very simple PDF image that I need to import into VCarve Pro. I have tried both import options and neither work. HELP
