Wish for future versions -
When creating a pocket toolpath I can edit the number and depth of passes, perhaps to set a thin final cut to help ensure a smooth finish on the bottom. Wish I could do that on clearance passes for V-carve toolpaths, At present the number of passes for clearance passes are determined by the depth of...

Clean-Up Finish Pass Cutting too Deeply
Could use some help with this as I've not been able to figure out a fix... The bell is finished with a .25" ball nose bit. Then in an attempt to sharpen up a few details I'm trying to use a .0625" TBM to make another finish pass (with "Selected Vectors" enabled) to clean up around the top "hanger ri...

Swept Profile Trouble
I've never had an issue with a Swept Profile....until today. I have two closed vectors and an open vector to be used as the profile. Inner closed vector is the drive rail. Outer closed vector is set with a profile toolpath to cut the piece out. Both inner and outer vectors are centered on each other...

Rest Marching - Select Vectors Issue
Having an issue with rest machining, The project attached is a "Ship's Bell" plaque (I was in the US Coast Guard and make these for members who served on various ships). The Bell sits in a recess, and after a roughing pass I finish with a .25" BN then get the details with a .125" TBN. The thing is t...

"Bevels" at bottom of model
Could someone take a look? This a model of a gear - simulation shows "bevels" at the bottom and I don't know why. I think it might have something to do with the zero plane component.
thank you!

Cleanup Profile Pass "divots"
Working on a simple model for a coaster (to go under drink glasses). The plan was to just do a roughing pass, then run a "clean up" profile pass around the inside of the perimeter to smooth the edges. The clean up pass does the job but the bit plunges at points around the perimeter. Please see the s...

Clearance passes in V Carve toolpaths
If I want to mill a pocket with a smooth bottom finish I can (within the Pocket Toolpath options) set a shallow depth for my final pass. Trouble is I can't do that for clearance passes within V-Carve toolpath and I'm getting a rough "bottom" to these areas. Wasting a lot of time sanding them out and...

Changes After Baking
I have two components - crossed anchors and a ship's wheel. The wheel is placed over the anchors and properties of both adjusted to get the effect I wanted. FIrst picture shows that. Afterwards I tried Baking the two components into one, but now the wheel spokes, rather than extending over the ancho...

Two Rail Sweep Help Rquest...
I could use some help with Two Rail Sweep.
After making the rail selections the sweep goes beyond the component I wanted to apply it to. Pictures attached.
How do I constrain the sweep just to the component?
Thank you

Swept Profile - Unwanted Lines
my swept profile is creating unwanted diagonal lines on the top surface...the rest of the profile comes out fine. Any way as to how I can avoid this?

Vertical edges on finishing
Is there a way to minimize the rough edges you sometimes get on vertices (or near verticals) edges during finish passes of 3D models?
