Sorting/rearranging layers
Is there a way to sort or rearrange layers? I would like to be able to group the layers in the order of the parts of the project.

Job Dimensions - metric/imperial
Not sure if this is a bug, or just me doing something incorrect... I set up job dimensions in inches 4" x 4", then put a 3" circle in the middle.... Then do a horizontal measure and see that it is 3.0... The text height in the dimension is 0.25". Now I go back, and change job dimensions to be metric...

Drawing Pen
I decided to put together a pen for the CNC table so I could easily draw some templates of a project for a friend to use cutting the parts with his bandsaw. One image shows the completed pen and the other a parts breakdown of each piece. The copper sleeve is a piece of 1/2" soft copper (used that be...

Dimensions Question
I am working on a project that has MANY parts, each of the parts are on a separate layer. Is there an easy way of doing the dimensions of each of the parts, and then have those dimensions placed directly on the same layer? Right now I'm creating the dimensions, then moving them from the dimensions l...

Anthony, I would love a copy. I like the idea of having no weights to contend with, Thanks... Henri MonnierAnthony Hurter wrote:If anyone would like a DXF of my detailed Aspire toolpaths, be my guest.

Re: Pricing Question
WOW, never thought the post woul garner such good information. As an update, I have delivered the two signs, and have received positive comments back. They ended up approving the price, I suspect they looked around, most likely in Charleston.... Thanks everyone for all the comments and ideas....

Re: Pricing Question
Rcnewcomb - "Is this a business relationship worth pursuing?" Lets just say that it could be. It's a good sized condo group, with a marina and restaurant. They have quite a few building units with about 6 residents per building. None of the buildings are properly marked for the fire department. So ...

Re: Pricing Question
Hi..... Bob Reda - I am machining away everything but the letters, the 3M is down with Oramask over it, so after cutting the whole sign is sprayed with the background color then the Oramask is removed, leaving the reflective material in place.. Jim_in_PA - Yes, I do not think they have contacted ano...

Pricing Question
I have been asked to produce several signs for various building numbers that would be 911 compliant. The signs would be 5.5" x 30" inches, made of a UV stabilized PVC. The lettering would be raised about 1/8", and would be cut with 3M Reflective Vinyl in place. The background would be a neutral colo...

Re: Reflective Lettering
ohiolyons,
Yes it is. I have read thru the literature, is it as good as they claim? It looks like you just apply some exterior white acrylic, and while wet, dump the beads on it, and let it dry, then just dump the excess off. Sounds simple, but is it effective?

Re: Reflective Lettering
Rcnewcomb,
Yes it does. That is what they had before, they claim. The signs lasted about 5 years, then the material began to come loose, and started to break off. They are in the sun, almost 100%. I read about using the glass beads, and thought that might be an alternative.
