I had a similar problem where the Z would rapidly raise to the top on startup. I think I open and saved an online crv file with the Z and these setting were used by Vcarve when I next created my own file.

I use mach2/3 ATC arc in (*txt) for a post processor with no ATC. I think the only chande I made in Mach 3 was In config :General :Stop spindle and wait for cycle start. This is in top left of page. Also in Vectric when you save file there is a check box to save multiple tool paths in one file. Hope...

look at ridgid pipe threaders. Either manual or electric. Not sure if they do internal threads. Would be cheaper than a lathe.

Not sure if Mack4 has wizards, located in top tool bar, but if it does there should be one to cut a rectangular pocket. You could adjust your size for each slab here. Sorry I only have Mach3 but I think it would still be a feature.

I played with this yesterday. The original download was xxx.zip but the extension was not showing. When I renamed the file it became xxx.vgadget.zip. I renamed the file to xxxinstall .vgadget and the process worked. You must be able to see the file extensions to rename properly. I'm still on 9.5 but...

question about changes to forum format
When I checked into the forum this morning the colours had changed. Also the topics in the galleries are now bitmaps. Is there any way to revert to the old display. Also checked forum on another computer with the same result.
