Re: Laser Crosshair on CNC Complete How To For Under $40

Hi Guys,

Thank you for your reply.

Did you guys create a new button on your MACH4 screen to do the Zeroing as shown by Howard?

Cheers

Laser Crosshair on CNC Complete How To For Under $40

Hi Guys,

I need to upskill myself from Mach3 to Mach4, and during my search for information came across this video https://youtu.be/8m_K9WfCiEY

Has anybody done this modification in Mach4?

Regards

Re: Laser module postprocessor issue

Where does Sales and Marketing end, and false advertising start….? I bought a uSpot OPT laser and attracted it to my CNC Router. Between the GREAT support from the teams at OPT Laser and CSLABS, I got the laser to talk to Mach 3 successfully. At this stage Vectric brought out the new version 10.5, b...

Here is some images that I aspire to do one day... However I think the wood was placed under a vacuum and the ink sucked into the wood.

Hand Sanitizer as a lubricant

Hi Guys, Last night I had to cut some plexiglass squares, and instead of using a alcohol/water soapy solution, I used alcohol hand sanitizer, the gel type, and it worked very well. Being a gel it did not get blown away, and evaporated, but stayed in place, and collected all the shavings. It also pro...

Post processor for CSlabs CSMIO/IP-M controller and 6 Watt Optlaser

Hi Guys,

I have added a 6 Watt Opt laser to my CNC router. The wiring is complete, and works fine when I send a 0 to 5 Volt output from Mach 3 to the laser module.

Does anybody have a working post processor file for this setup?

Cheers

I have a 6 Watt Optlaser that I need to connect to a CSlabs CSMIO/IP-M controller, so I will be very interested in the settings of the PP file

Re: Workpiece Offsets

Hi Guys, Sorry if I ask the obvious question here, but I would like to understand Teds solution better. I still have lots to learn. In Mach3 on the Offset tab, do you set the G54 value (the router position, relative to the workpiece Zero) as X = 0, Y = 0 and Z = 0 and then include the G54 command in...

Re: Kitchen Aid mechanical peeler

Hi Randal,

my idea was to do the end part first, and then do the wrapping, but to get the index correct, would be tricky. So as the other team members suggested, 3D is the way to go these days.

Cheers
