Re: Still Alive
Good to see you back Grease. Always love looking at your projects. I've been kinda quiet here lately too. We are building a new home and the CNC has been put into storage. My wife laughs at me all the time because I keep saying I want my "baby" back. Never realized how much I'd miss the CNC until I ...

Re: The "Jake Chair" Childrens version
Paul,
Excellent job on the chair. Would you mind posting where you got the dfx files for the chair? I think I would like to make a few of these myself.

Here is a source I found. Haven't ordered anything from them but looks like what you are looking for. Looks to be a fun project to try.

Re: Recent project
Finished the staining today. Now on to the poly coats...
Also, another model I may cut to let my daughter paint for the Easter Bunny. She's always wants me to make something for her to paint. I think she will like this one.

Re: Recent project
Had a chance to cut the bear with the heart in some MDF. Came out very nice although the pic isn't the best. I think I'm going to try the staining technique that Phil and Randall have done. I think the examples they showed were great. Just hope I can get the same end result. :D Now just have to fini...

Re: A few WIP
I seem to be able to get the body and eye area OK but the mouth/nose areas for some reason I have a very hard time getting something I am happy with. I'll keep plugging away. I would like to see some tutorials on this if anyone knows where to find them...

Happy Holidays to everyone!
Just like to thank all of you for the ideas, tips, and all around knowledge that is passed along on this forum. I, like Phil, check in daily to see what new item I can learn today. Can't forget the Vectric team for making it all possible.
